How times have changed

We first visited Menorca 21 years ago as we had been told it was the least developed and unspoilt of the Balearic Islands and we fell in love with it.

We saw lots of towers which had been windmills which had been built to encourage economic development. A number of cycle routes were being developed and the Cami de Cavalls was been renovated after years of neglect.

Now we have towers now with sails, fully signposted mountain bike trails and red cycle routes linking major centres and the Cami, running close to this picture, and fully operational for all to enjoy.

Mrs UE is again serving as an indicator of size. She is the dot on the red road adjacent to the Windmill which is, I think , on the right of the Cami.
