Open-air museum "Vogtsbauernhof"

We went by train to Gutach. There is an open-air museum with farms and farmhouses that have been dismantled from various places in the Black Forest and rebuilt here.

This house comes from the Northern Black Forest and was rebuilt in 2017 in the museum. It is not only the oldest building on the museum grounds, but also one of the oldest buildings ever in an open-air museum in Germany.
The first documentary mention is in 1379.

When it was re-established, according to findings and reports from contemporary witnesses, the aim was to achieve the state in which the house had been left in 1972.
