A misty afternoon at the coast

After the morning rain cleared we decided to take the Metro to the coast and walk from Tynemouth to Cullercoats, adding on a walk to the end of the pier first. The main blip is taken from the far end of the pier looking back at the town: we were intrigued by the way the haar seemed to rise from the side of the pier and curve over towards the left of the photo - it really looked like that to the naked eye, it's not just an artefact of the photo. (Note: The folks in the photo are just random other tourists, although we did have a chat with one of them. In case you're wondering why they're looking up, they're looking at the lighthouse behind me at the end of the pier, and it's quite tall.)

I've added a couple of extras - I like the simplicity of the yacht coming into the mouth of the river, shrouded in mist, and the way the paddleboarders (at Cullercoats) seemed to be venturing out into it.
