Ice Hanger

On the 3rd Day of Spring 15cm of snow arrived.

Admittedly, there were places where it seemed far more and at times a lot less, but that is the beauty of a steady wind blowing fine easterly snow flakes.

This ice hanger is also the result of slow melting snow having settled on the top of the washing line. Then turning to water as it slowly travelled around the cord in preparation to fall to the ground. However, the wind chill then turn the water into ice and created this hanger effect measuring about 12cm out from the limb attached to the washing line. Hence the blip for today...

Taken on a Sony A55 with a standard lens.
