Loropetalum

This is the Chinese Black Pearl.
D. bought a number of plants to fill the plant beds that will have to be filled when our terrace is ready (almost, almost). This is one of them, and afaik not one we have had in our garden before.
But hey, I don't have green fingers, not at all.
