Desirable waterside property?

The property market here has been going gang busters, with prices up and properties selling very quickly, despite lockdowns and stay at home orders.
 
This one looks attractive – on the edge of a lake perhaps? Actually, no. As the extra shows, it’s just another manifestation of the drainage problems which those mysterious pipes are going to solve. It hasn’t deterred the buyers though.
