What is it?

I’ve no idea what this is but I spotted it earlier this week when we were in Trebah in Cornwall. So it’s my submission for flower Friday. It’s rather beautiful whatever it is! We had a long drive home today, left at 8.30 am and got home at around 6, there was an awful lot of traffic.
