Weymouth

First train journey in Covid times. Had to have a change of scenery. An hour away by train.

Arrived at midday. Stopped by ‘Hive’, a delightful vegan/vegetarian, for a quick bite (Mr B had Dorset apple cake). Then strolled along the quayside, which was buzzing. Many more tables outside the pubs now, all occupied. One of Covid’s benefits. (Are there others?).

Warm and humid at times. So walked in the shade. Returned home on the 15:03. Home 15,000 steps later.

Had some lovely photos of the beach and harbour. But this one stood out, especially the sky - the Royal Hotel on the front. Grade 2 listed, opened in 1899.
