Tardebigge Locks

We visited a stretch of the Worcester and Birmingham Canal today.  The Tardebigge Locks make up the longest stretch of locks in the UK.  There are 30 of them covering 2 and a quarter miles not far from Bromsgrove.  Those in charge of the canal boats , particularly those working the locks were looking a little weary by the time they were getting to one of the last locks in the flight, number 57.

I liked this one, although I didn't spot until a little later that they seem to have an extra large tin of brasso on board for all that brass!
