September rose (two alternative views in extras, to keep the rest of the house happy!)

Unlike my blighted tomato plants, the roses are still doing well in the garden. My neighbour’s dad, a retired mechanic, came round this afternoon to try and fix the problem that caused my car to fail its MOT, using a cunning trick of his. Fingers crossed he’s solved the problem, otherwise it’s going to be an expensive job. A day of sunny intervals and 20 degrees.
