Today didn't quite go to plan as I was going to go to Carding Mill Valley for a walk and a possible swim in the reservoir there (I haven't done this before, but have been keen to try some cold water swimming as several people have told me how much they like it). 
Anyway, the weather wasn't as nice as I'd hoped so decided to leave the whole thing for another day. Instead I watched the Great North Run on TV to see if I could spot my brother running. I was just about to give up and they cut to the finish line just as he was getting there.
Then in the afternoon I popped to the garden centre for a few bulbs that I want to plant ready for spring.
