Airplane and hot air balloon!!

Our daughter passed her hot air balloon pilot's license today.
The photo was taken just before takeoff. During contact with airport air traffic control, her was told that she could take off with her hot air balloon.
Forgot to mention that a plane was approaching.
Fortunately the battery of the transponder was empty beforehand "and so they could take off a little later" otherwise they would have hit each other. A big mistake, which fortunately ended well.
