Smoke

We survived the night OK, had a horrendous electrical storm followed by a decent amount of rain.  The excessive winds that was forecast didn't come to much, strong yes but not gales like the other night.  It was more about the thunder and lightening that lit up the room like daylight !!  No power loss either, bonus !

Our Monday photography get together went ahead after a few weeks not meeting because of lockdown.  We tried to do incense smoke up against a black background.....worked OK, but a good percentage of mine were out of focus which was disappointing. We used one camera which was already set up and each put their own card in.  So somewhere along the line the camera or the incense was moved which caused the frames to be out of focus.  Still, it was fun.
My blip is one, with some cloning out of random bits, and two layers added - one the flower as I thought it looked like a stem and another smoke photo layered to add the bit on the right. (meant to look like another stem/branch).
I've tagged this for Mono Monday "two" - two (so called) branches/stems.
Covid Stats - not so good with 33 new community cases, 21 in hospital, 4 in ICU.
Auckland remains in Level 4, the remainder stay the same in Level 2.  A further announcement is scheduled for next Monday.
This link has our country in an uproar, and rightly so.  Asking for name suppression but the names are already out there apparently. Good I say, name and shame.
