Some culture

We visited a couple of museums today. First up the Lowry Gallery which was excellent. I didn’t know the breadth of his painting nor anything really about his life so time well spent. In the afternoon we went to the Imperial War Museum North which has an interesting appearance (blip) . Inside I found the layout a bit confusing but there were some fascinating exhibits and films. We’d planned to go into the city centre for dinner but heavy rain put paid to that so we ended up with a take away pizza.
