New mural in town....

Today I went the "Fountain House" in Oslo to discover this wonderful mural that was painted last summer. It's a clubhouse where people with a history of mental illness can get work training to make it more easy to re-connect with society.  

The artist "Kim" Sinnsykshit "Larsen was asked to  decorate the wall with a painting  inspired by mental health and the experience of a road back to belonging. The mural shows the bird's escape from the cage of loneliness, out to the freedom and independence and landing on the bench with a new friend. 

Must be inspiring to enter the door to this place!
