At Thomas the Martyr Church

This wonderful Church was originally part of the Upholland Priory dating from 1307.
The image shows the main altar window and two of the side windows.
Very recently, in an effort to maintain its usefulness to the community, a Post Office is located in one of the side rooms, and the rear of the church is a lovely café serving drinks and cakes and snacks!
It’s a lovely experience sitting in such historic surroundings with a good cuppa!
