Penguins, Incognito......

Lie in til 6.50am this morning - luxury!

As the sun was trying to peek through the cloud, I took my charges up to the Zoo for a couple of hours in the morning before their parents returned home.

We even managed to see the pandas, without pre booking (spaces in a morning group, and as we were hanging around the penguin viewing area, the keeper asked if we'd like to join the group). The kids had seen the pandas with their Mum several times, but it was my first encounter.
She was asleep, he was eating. Who says humans and animals are so different?

Off to see Oz The Great and Powerful later. Quite looking forward to it.....except the flying monkeys!
