Keeping watch

What a miserable day it has been.  I was all set up to veg on the settee when thankfully friend Angela messaged with an invite to walk in the rain.  It was a good opportunity to try out my new waterproof and it passed the test.

After lunch I did veg on the settee and watched a film for a couple of hours, before taking a look at the elder tree for a blip.  There weren't many birds in the tree, just this blue tit and a coal tit flitting back and forth.
