SOS

This old ship could do with being rescued.  

It used to warn sailors that they were approaching the North Carr rocks near the entrance to the Firth of Tay - using the light mounted on its deck, and the fog-horn, if necessary.  

After it was decommissioned as a lightship, it was moored in Anstruther and used as museum.

It has been waiting 10 years for restoration to begin. By the looks of it, it won't last much longer.
