Where's the cafe?

We abandoned the regular bike ride today, and the four intrepid Sunday morning team went for a local walk.

We added an extra section near the end to get to a shop and tea room. It involved walking half a mile down a narrow, sunken bridle path with tall stone walls on each side, and the path had completely filled-in with snow. We were often sinking up to our waists in wonderful soft snow. The last push up to the tea shop could only be done on all fours as it was too deep to wade through.

When we got there - it was closed. It's a hard life!
