Odd looking tree

Walking the dogs today down the Clyde shore before having lunch with all the family, and noticed this tree. Must've walked past it a thousand times but never saw how unusual it is. Although it's been blown over it's still growing, with all the new growth sprouting upwards. I loved the colour of the vertical fresh growth against the rest of the tree.
