Jackson's cottage

Back blip - Friday
We left Knaresborough quite early and drove to Bollington to visit Edwina and John - they're letting us stay in their lovely little holiday cottage, nearby in Kerridge.
After settling in, Dennis and I took a walk up Kerridge Hill to white Nancy - a structure built in 1817 to commemorate the battle of Waterloo. Then we went over to Edwina and John's and sat in the garden while the sun was out. John and Dennis took the dogs a walk later (to the pub), but got caught in a downpour on the way home. After taking Dennis back to the cottage to get dry again, we returned for dinner.
