Plums

Had a lovely home day today.  Bob harvested some beetroot, the last of the crop and I baked it, will have it with dinner tonight, but it tastes delicious when I sampled it.

Bob went over to 'Go' at Coatbridge as he was looking for a pair of walking shoes; he was unlucky as they did not have what he wanted.  On the way home there was a cow on the Hamilton Expressway, and he, like many others I think, called the Police to warn them.

Cali arrived in the afternoon, and went up the ladder to pick the last of the plums.  I will prepare them for the freezer tomorrow, keeping some back of course to have as we like.

Andrew came too, and we were able to tell of all our exploits when in Yorkshire, and we had all the chat from both of them, so a very enjoyable day.
