Sgwarnog: In the Field

Kite Sledding

Well, at least the snow has stopped falling for now.

Yesterday's drifts had developed a crust, so I was able to clamber over to see how the lambs were doing. They seemed to be making the best of the situation:

Two Lambs
Lots of lambs

Seeing as I'd got that far, I thought I'd try to get up onto the moor via Hope Gate. This involved clambering through this lot.

Up on the moor the wind was fierce but the sun was beginning to creep through for the first time in days. One of the trees often blipped by @PaulFS and myself was looking fine.

Further along, the highland cattle were demonstrating why they're the hardiest creatures in Bradford.

Later, 5yo and 8yo were finally persuaded to get the sledges out, and we had fun negotiating the slopes, with a bit of help from the wind. Sentinel Tree makes another guest appearance in the background.

It's over two years since these sledges made their blip debut in Sledges for Goalposts.
