Enormous meringues in Corbridge

The purpose of our trip to Northumberland is to attend this year's BAAfest  (Bellingham All Acoustic music festival) organised by friends Paul and Fiona See extra photo which shows Fiona accompanying singer songwriter Liz Simcock We're staying in a cottage in Corbridge: a stroll around this rather upmarket small town revealed a super bakery that seems to specialise in very large meringues: I resisted a purchase but not a photo!
