Home made studio effort!

Here we are attempting a bit of an ambitious/bonkers idea for a photo...

This is a musician friend of mine who I am taking some photos for. He makes music by sampling music from his vast record collection, turning them into something new and rapping over the top. The idea was to have records in the air surrounding him as if they were sort of in his imagination or floating or something like that!?! I don't think we were entirely sure what we were doing.

We spent a good few hours blocking out light with bin bags, pillows, clothes and cardboard boxes, then constructed a rickety frame for a backdrop (gaffa taped brooms from the pound shop!) and support for hanging things over head (gaffa taped clothes racks!). Think we got some interesting shots!
