Another museum visit.

This time to Chichester to visit the brilliant Novium Museum. One of the exhibitions relates to the various finds of Roman remains in the area. They have produced a wonderfully informative exhibition in a lovely modern building, the exhibits beautifully displayed.

The headdress belonged to a warrior, "Mystery Warrior, North Bersted Man", subject of one of the exhibitions upon whose remains a lot of research has been done.

The extra is of the foundations of the Roman bath over which the museum was built.

There are also exhibitions relating the history of the ancient town, its industries and occupations - eg major cattle markets, and the Shippam's fish paste factory.

Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
