Killerton House (NT)

It was raining a bit this morning so we decided to go to see this National Trust place.
As we parked up the rain began to chuck down so we sat in the car till it eased off. It was drizzling a little as we entered the house but half an hour after it had stopped and the sun was out.
The house was interesting and the grounds were beautiful.
We had a brew in the cafe there then drove to Sidmouth. We had lunch there, in a cafe called Becketts and it was great.
We thought we'd have a mooch on the pebble beach - this was interesting as we negotiated the big ridge of pebbles - going down the ridge you got there faster than you intended and coming back up it was one step forward and one back! Gooid exercise I suppose but we felt a bit daft making no progress going up, ha ha. It was a bit windy on the seafront so we looked somewhat wild as well!
