An Ice Cream Family

Today, we crossed over the Mackinac Bridge into Michigan's Upper Peninsula and promptly got on a boat to Mackinac Island.  No vehicles permitted here.  Everyone either walks, bikes, or uses some form of horse transportation, an interesting place.  Lots of tourists with only about 500 year around residents.  We mostly walked and enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Watercolor Cafe and dinner at Millies.  The local fresh water fish is very tasty.

The extras include a glimpse through a storefront window, a view of the famed Grand Hotel porch (as long as 3 football fields), where we enjoyed a very pricey glass of wine, and two dogs and a cyclist.
