Wellie Planter!

16°-  10 mph ESE Wind Speed  -  13 mph Gusts  -  Cloudy  -  Sunny Intervals.  I was going to throw my old Wellies out when I saw a Beechgrove gardening program that suggested you use them as Planters  -  that’s exactly what I’ve done!  The lady next door drilled some holes in the soles so that the plants didn’t become waterlogged, and I’ve put some pebbles in the bottom and filled them up with a mixture of compost and soil.  I’ve planted a couple of Daffodil bulbs in this one and some Fumitory on top  -  the Fumitory will die down in late Autumn and hey presto! In the Spring we will have Daffodils.  Fumitory is my daintiest herb and the burnt leaves keeps evil away  - you can read all about Fumitory HERE if you wish.
