Duck Peg

MrsB and I did a good, though very warm, walk up the steep Wigan Flight of canal locks on the Leeds/Liverpool Canal this afternoon, but saw few narrowboats and none in the locks!
However, ‘Bottle O’ Sass’ was moored after Top Lock, and we were amused to see that the three mooring ropes were topped by yellow ducks!!
(Common practice is to tie a bright rag to the peg to prevent passers by tripping on the peg/rope)
