Whitby 2021 Day 4 Land, Sea and Sky

Spent the morning on my own out and about around Whitby. Toyed with the idea of taking the bus to Robin Hood’s Bay but settled instead for a short sea trip on the Black Pearl Pirate Boat. The water was calm but the boat still bobbed around a bit giving me very great respect for those who go out to sea for a living! The captain took us only about a mile out to sea but he was able to pin point, via sonar, the exact moment we passed over 2 shipwrecks. Interesting to clearly see the shape of them on screen.
The remainder of the morning was spent looking at the sights of Whitby, stopping every 15 minutes or so to relax on a bench.
I’m appreciating benches more I’ve noticed...
