A day at the coast

Darren isn’t working this week so we’ve been spending time at caravan. Today we visited Filey and what a fabulous day it was.
It was very busy, not with children, but adults, mainly the middle aged and pensioners, they are certainly out in force this September.
The sea was very much in when we arrived in Filey so we had a walk from the country park towards Filey brigg. Darren loves the views up here and could sit and look out to sea for hours if I wasn’t with him.
We made our way down to the sea front when the sea went out, Darren treated himself to an ice cream, he got vanilla with a lemon sorbet topper, absolutely gorgeous according to Darren. We got on to the beach and I played chase ball for a bit, which was good fun.
We ended the day back at the country park, near the brigg, Darren had his tea while sat on a bench admiring the view of Filey bay.
Back at caravan now, and I’m sleeping, it’s been a good day though.
