Morning sunlight was filtering through the above tree canopy and highlighting selected stems of these lovely flowers emerging from the dainty feathery leaves.

They have multiplied well and now form a row along the front of this shaded border. 

This is Corydalis cheilanthifolia, commonly know as the ferny corydalis.
