We had occasion to return a bag of flour to a supermarket today, to report a small piece of plastic that we found inside.  It was intended as a bit of helpful information so that the manufacturer could inspect their machines for fragmentation etc . . .

But it took a loooong time.  This gentleman was fighting an ancient interface which took up less than a quarter of his computer's display and used tiny writing.  He eventually  had to take down my details on paper and spent the next 30 minutes, the remainder of our time in the shop, fat-fingering the data into the reluctant database.

However, he kindly gave us a £10 voucher to use in the place; we don't go there very often, but it was a good gesture and we'll use it.
