Day 25 "NN" - Way home - Camas nan Geall

Last day … way home!

The tide was out - very much though and Neil suggested to take the quad to Samalaman Bay and have our morning swim there!

Oh my - it was so beautiful to walk in glorious sunshine into the clear (and cold) water ….!

I felt like a hero too, as there was a girl swimming with a wet suit hahaha!!
We dried off in the sun and drove back to the cottage, had coffee and started packing.

We left just after 12 pm, handed Marion the keys and headed to Acharacle first - for a coffee and breakfast at Cafe Tioram.
Be fore that we actually did a detour to Dalelea House and stopped at Fergie MacDonalds venison shop.

Fergie was there himself and there was a lot of chatting and a few wee stories before we could carry on to our coffee.
Fergie is such a character and I think we made his day as he was on his own recovering from his knee operation.

After breakfast we continued to Salen and drove a bit along the coast up to Camas nan Geall.
The weather was getting duller and it was quite breathy.

We decided to leave any further exploration of Adrnamurchan to another day and drove through Strontian to Ardgour to catch the ferry to Onich.

Lovely and quiet drive through Glencoe, quick stop at Loch Bá before driving along side Loch Lomond to Glasgow.

We felt knackered when we came home and both felt like a bath after 8 days of washing with sea water.

We poured a bath, took the half bottle of red we had left and celebrated the last day of our holiday in the tub!

We ate and collapsed to bed!

Blipping Camas nan Geall - apparently one of the most photographed beaches in Scotland ...???
