Sunshine . . .

. . . . almost all day!
The day dawned misty and cool, but the sun soon came out and burned it off. Breakfast was enjoyed outside.
After the morning chores we set off to visit Heathfield, the town nearest where we are staying.  Enjoyed a wander up and down the Main Street and  had coffee before returning for lunch - again eaten outside.
After some potting up, some weeding, watering etc we sat and watched these 'dragons' (no idea what they are, but looking at JDO's post think they re common darters) flitting up and down near the pond, then sitting on the tubs beside the water. Lovely to see them and there were a 'couple' dropping eggs in the water too.
I'm on dinner duty tonight so best go and 'get on'.

Apologies again for not visiting all journals. Time seems to vanish when 'on holiday'.
