A joy to see

Firstly, a wedding at the cathedral with plenty of onlookers just loving that this is possible (and on a lovely sunny day too which always helps!).

Secondly, a truck full of girls taking a bride-to-be out on her 'blackening'. Lots of noise, shrieks of laughter and calling to bystanders involved (and alcohol of course). The party were already liberally smeared with molasses and got a big wave from the very smart wedding party.

The boy's version of a blackening went through not long after. And later, after at least three more sashays along Broad St, the hapless stag was bent over laughing so much they had real problems getting him clingfilmed to the merkit cross. I'm not sure how long he was left there - could still be there sobering up for all I know!

The last proper golf competition today. Lovely company, lovely weather and a few good shots but I am dead certain I'm not in the prizes!
