Lowry

Day in Berwick. Walked from site across the old road road bridge and then up to Cafe Nero for flat white and croissant.
We then walked round the ramparts, which a fabulous with wonderful views out to sea. Some lovely building.
Lunch in a dog friendly pub, Hetty was made to feel very welcome with a little bowl of biscuits. Very spacious and mask wearing staff.
The Lowry trail is interesting as they have his painting of a scene in front of it. Not typical Lowry.
We then walked out on the pier and then back towards site and onto Spittel, what a surprise to find it has an old fashion promenade with ice cream and rock shop.
Waterproofs on all day, but not cold.
Vegi sausages, fennel and pasta for dinner.
