Old Inverlochy Castle

I catch the 8:45 bu bus to Fort William. It’s a lovely journey - all four and a half hours of it. With an extra fifteen minutes in Tundra just for good luck.

The Leaf that I’m here to look at is waiting at the bus station. It’s in good condition, bar a few scratches, but decide to pass on it. So, I have a couple of hours to kill before putting the return portion of my ticket into action.

I walk along the coast. Intermittent light squalls and bright sunshine. General Wade’s road, bridges, castle, fort.

I go into Lidl for a something to eat on the way back and leave with a bread machine. Serendipity perhaps.
