Balloons, Bugs and Butterflies......

And fungi!

I had an exciting start to the day watching a hot air balloon drop down almost touching the lake. Fair play to the skills of the pilot. Pity I wasn't near enough to get a clear photo.

As the temperature warmed, the insects appeared - butterflies, bees, hovers, bugs and spiders. I found it hard to leave as I know we're at the end of the time for these creatures.

But it was the delicate fungi that stole the show for me. I think it's a pleated inkcap? So the bugs have had to be relegated to the extras.
