Crown Prince pumpkin

As I've said before, Crown Prince pumpkins are a reliable crop for the UK climate. 

Given the bad summer we've had, it's fantastic to see that the skin of this fruit has turned grey and is starting to cure. 

When the greenhouse is free of summer plants and has had a good clean, the pumpkins will move in to enjoy the last rays of autumn sunshine safe from wet and cold nights.
