Having a look

A wonderful visit with fellow blipper Beaches Doogie and Impy! So great to finally have them stay overnight and have a proper visit.
Neighbour Bill dropped in on his way home from town to pick up some carrots and arugula. We had coffee then he joined us for a very late breakfast. We decided not to go to the Fall Fair because the weather was iffy and we didn't want to be among a lot of people, so we went for a walk down Xwaaqw'um instead. We were lucky to only have a couple of showers while we walked. Doogie and Impy enjoyed the blackberries that are still quite plentiful. Here's Doogie looking through the binoculars to see if there were people up on Mt. Maxwell. We came home in time to watch the final three sets of Kalyn's volleyball game on the tv. The team lost the match in five sets. They played Western Washington, now ranked #17 nationally. Kalyn's team is ranked #20. I know the next match between these two teams will be exciting! It was fun watching with Doogie and Impy.
Extras: Impy taking a photo of "my" rusty buoy"; the biggest sea snail I've seen. I spotted it on the beach and G held it for me to take a photo.
