Down memory lane

We went to Knysna today and visited the church at Belvidere where were married 42 years ago. It is a beautiful church, seating only 50 people. It was also interesting walking around the graveyard where many early family members of the Duthie family, who built the church, are buried.
Well, this was the only place open on a Monday! Thereafter we tried numerous restaurants...all closed, a visit to the Raptor rescue centre was in vain. Closed on Mondays!,
I failed as a tour guide, and have learnt to check when places are open.!! But we hope to visit the Raptor rescue centre tomorrow.
We came back to Plett where we had a delicious lunch at the restaurant at Old Nick's village.
The weather is miserable - overcast and windy, so it's a good excuse to curl up and read our books.
