Caterpillar

They’re setting up a funfair on the green, including this Crazy Caterpillar ride. I think he looks rather scary.
I chatted and read poems with Josiane and Anthony today. For Josiane I chose The Lake Isle of Innisfree and the related A Love Song of Tooting by Kit Wright. Antony got The Eagle Feather Fan by N. Scott Momaday.
D went out sketching, and I went to the high street for paper and pipe cleaners so I can make paper flowers on Thursday.
I am stewing some rock-hard plums that came in our vegetable box. I wish I could find those oval Italian plums that we used to buy in upstate New York, I haven’t seen any around here this year.
