Rural letterbox

We stopped to check for mail on the way out to town and I thought I saw a blip. Over the years people have come and gone leaving their letter boxes behind. Now the only one in use is ours, the nearest one. Canoe Bay. My sister wrote her message on our one after some reprobate shot holes in it.
