One week on

The flowers that arrived last Monday are definitely coming into their own with a gorgeous scent from the lilies as I got in from work today. This shot doesn't do the colours justice but they are definitely autumnal colours. There was a chill in the air this morning and it was definitely darker than it was first thing on Friday. I don't think it'll be too long before our first walk is in the dark. 

It was a 'hit the ground running' kind of a Monday, covering a lesson and duties for absent staff in amongst my own stuff. A bit of a frustrating end of the day meeting or maybe it was just me feeling a bit grumpy by that point. At least my flowers - and Bailey - put a smile on my face when I eventually got home.
