Mary Barbour Statue

This photo shows the Statue of Mary Barbour who helped to stop Landlords evict tenants as a result of Rent Rises in 1915 when the men were away at War.

She also campaigned for the Regulation of the price of Rents.
She succeeded in the Regulation of Rents throughout the country.
The extra photo is the back of the statue which shows more of the representation of some of the many people she helped.
