Drove up to Cheshire in the van today. Not quite a holiday as P is going to help older daughter with some maintenance/painting on her narrowboat, to make best use of the expensive time out of the water, & facilities, at a boatyard. Went for a short walk from the campsite in Delamere Forest to the edge of Blakemere Moss just to stretch our legs after the journey. This is the flooded area just behind the campsite - seems to be linked to the lake by a narrow channel, from a large scale map I found (an orienteering one!).
