Millennium Walkway ...

and the Torrs Riverside country park.

Hard to believe that this little gem in New Mills, Derbyshire, is only three stops down the train line from me, and this was my first visit.

The walkway clings to the side of a gorge over the River Goyt.

I really needed a day out today as tomorrow I head back to work for 3 days. Three days doesn’t sound much but yesterday I was searching out my Pension Forecast ... I think that time is drawing closer.
I know I keep saying that but it’s such a hard decision to give up a regular income.
